HOW TO MEASURE

To create a custom fit window well cover we need your window well measurements and a template that shows the shape of your window well.

1. Window Well Measurements
• Width: Measure the width of your well from outside edge to outside edge (A) of the well rim along the house wall.
• Distance away from house wall at its greatest point: Measure how far the well projects from the house wall (not the window) to the outside edge of the well rim (B).

2. Window Well Template
• Place a large piece of cardboard or heavy construction paper over the top of the window well. (tip: you can use duct tape to keep the template paper tight across the entire surface of the well)
• Use a magic marker to draw the outer edge of the window well on the down-facing side of the paper. (note: please do not mark the paper from the inside or the inner edge of the well)

Please follow the same steps for all window wells and note what side of the house each well is on (i.e. south side or south side front)
